A joint venture between McConnell Dowell and Built Environs has received an Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Project Management Achievement Award for an engineering / construction project in excess of $100 million for its work on the Techport Australia Common User Facility (CUF) on the Port River at Osborne, South Australia.
The Project Management Achievement Awards recognise excellence in all aspects of project management across Australia. The strict submission criteria focus on the discipline of project management, with an emphasis on planning and problem solving.
Managing Director Jim Frith, New Business and Strategy Manager Trevor Lambert, and Engineering Division Manager Jim Miller were in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the McConnell Dowell Built Environs joint venture team.
The CUF team's AIPM Project Management Achievement Award follows on the success of an MBA award for engineering excellence in August and a CCF Earth Award in July.
