Built Environs has completed a number of significant contracts at BHP Billiton’s $3 billion-plus Ravensthorpe Nickel Project, 150 km west of Esperance and 50 km north of Hopetoun, Western Australia.
Personnel worked to a four weeks on / one week off, fly-in fly-out roster, working an average of 10 hours per day for a 13 day fortnight.
In July 2006, Built Environs, in a joint venture with BHP Billiton, completed the $8.6 million Ravensthorpe Nickel Project C023.
In July 2006, Built Environs completed the $1.2 million Outokumpu Project.
In April 2007, Built Environs, in a joint venture with BHP Billiton, completed the $18 million Ravensthorpe Nickel Project C036.
In November 2006, Built Environs completed the $4 million Aker Kvaerner Chemetics Project.
