Reaching practical completion in September 2010, Built Environs delivered the $30 million first stage of this multi-level office development just outside of the Adelaide CBD at Keswick, South Australia, for long-time client Axiom Properties.

The project involved remediation of the site prior to installation of stormwater works, construction of a six-level 11,500 m2 office building and provision of a feeder road system and single-level carpark.

Built Environs also fitted out one of the two key tenancies, providing obvious logistical advantages for the client and tenants.

The design has achieved a five star Green Star Office Design v2 certified rating, with several of Built Environs’ inhouse Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) Accredited Professionals helping the client, architect Woodhead International, services design consultants WSP Lincolne Scott and structural and civil design consultants Wallbridge and Gilbert achieve the rating.

Work is also underway on achieving a Green Star Office As-Built v2 certified rating and a NABERS certified rating.

Built Environs worked closely with the client to modify the scope and delivery method of the project to meet the ever-changing market needs.

Stages two and three of the development, involving construction of a further two buildings of a similar scope, are approved pending the signing of tenancy agreements.
