Professional development programme

The Built Environs professional development programme is run by our Human Resources department via a mix of internal and external facilitators. You need to be a Built Environs employee to participate.

 

Selection is based on an assessment of your potential career progression, along with fulfilment of three of the following four criteria.

  • Agreement with your manager on a three year career development plan.
  • Completion of your tertiary education.
  • Current management responsibility for at least five people.
  • Demonstrated strong self management skills.

The programme runs for two years, with modules facilitated every two months. And because the programme is modular, you can join the programme at any stage in the cycle.

 

You will also be supported by the Built Environs mentoring programme.
