Built Environs offers a total of up to five scholarships a year to SA-based Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Mechanical Engineering undergraduates at the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia (UniSA).

Successful 2010 scholarship awardees will receive a burse to assist them with their studies, along with paid work experience.

How to apply

The application process for Built Environs scholarships is run by the participating universities.

Applicants are assessed on their:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to present their opinions persuasively and coherently.
• Involvement in the community or activities outside work or study.
• Solid grades and academic achievements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be an outstanding team player.
• Students will then be selected for interview based on the quality of their written applications, their demonstrable interest in the industry and their academic ability.
