At the site or project level, Built Environs has supported a number of community-based initiatives, including collection of refundable drinking containers for recycling and donation to causes such as the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the donation of plants for the revegetation of the Adelaide Desalination Project Transfer Pipeline corridor.
Built Environs has also engaged with clients, the EPA, KESAB, Zero Waste SA and other project stakeholders in the KESAB Clean Site environmental partnership programme, which is designed to execute best environmental practices in a construction environment through stormwater pollution prevention, recycling and resource recovery, and reduced litter escape.
