It was a fruitful night for Built Environs at the SA Australian Institute of Building (AIB) awards last Friday, securing both individual and team based awards.
Firstly, congratulations to Tony Jachmann named South Australian Building Professional of the Year. Tony's prestigious individual award was for his leadership on the highly complex Modbury Hospital Upgrade. This acknowledgement from his industry peers was well-earned, considering the exceptional outcomes achieved on this challenging project.
The Modbury team, along with our team on the Wingfold Tower project, were also both recognised in the Professional Excellence in the Commercial Construction $60 million Plus category.
The accolades continued, with undergraduate Rebecca Wurst being awarded the AIB South Australian Chapter - Second Year Award in the Bachelor of Construction Management Program. This backs up the award Rebecca received in 2021 for being the top first year student.
