- Major refurbishments that added another 12 treatment spaces to the Emergency Department and expanded the outpatient facilities by 430 m2.

All new-build areas were constructed to achieve a five star IGRAT rating.
In all, Built Environs constructed and refurbished more than 4,000 m2 in floor area for the Mount Gambier Hospital.
The regional location presented challenges for the Built Environs project team, as did managing work across multiple stages to ensure minimal disruption to the 24-hour operations of the major hospital servicing the south eastern region of the state.
Through careful planning and the implementation of a permit system, Built Environs ensured the successful delivery of works in this operational hospital environment without any unexpected shutdowns of essential services.
