Fast Facts:
- Construction of a stabling yard capable of holding six V/Line trains.

Summary:
Under the Western Program Alliance, McConnell Dowell constructed the Wyndham Vale Train Stabling Facility, north of Wyndham Vale Station. The facility replaced the existing stabling near Footscray, which was removed as part of the West Gate Tunnel Project. The project involved construction of a stabling yard capable of holding six V/Line trains, driver facilities and a bypass track connected to the Geelong line.
The Alliance is well-placed to undertake these works in the west, having recently completed their first two level crossing removal projects ahead of schedule, and also recently commencing the Aviation Road level crossing removal project in Laverton.
