On 19 September Built Environs and Urbanest jointly hosted Mates In Construction (MIC) for General Awareness Training at the Urbanest North Terrace Two project site in Adelaide. The Urbanest Board along with McConnell Dowell CEO and Built Environs Managing Director conducted a site tour and joined the teams for a BBQ.

The General Awareness Training is run to raise awareness of mental health and well-being in the construction industry, specifically what to look out for if someone has reached a tipping point.

Built Environs Managing Director, Daryl Young and Urbanest Australia CEO, Bub Nickel presented $5,000 donation cheque from the Built Environs and Urbanest Project Teams presented to MIC. During the presentation Mr Young thanked MIC for  their ongoing support and service to the project.

Following  the presentation the Urbanest Senior Management and the Urbanest Board, together with McConnell Dowell CEO, Scott Cummins and Daryl Young conducted a site tour of the 22 storey, 689 bedroom student accommodation building. The tour the highlighted the energy and responsiveness of the Built Environs team.

MIC were also presented with a generous donation that was was raised by the site workers on the Fly the Flag day held earlier in the month.
