Built Environs actively seeks and celebrates diversity, inclusion and individuality. In a culture low on ego and high on support, we encourage everyone to make an impact.
We’re big enough to take on community-shaping projects, but agile enough for you to have an influence on how we do things.
We genuinely value the importance of balancing work and life. We want you to be at your best so we can be at our best.
We’re on a journey to create greater flexibility, improve employee wellbeing and find new ways to make this industry healthier and happier for everyone.
When you grow, we all grow. The diversity of our projects, roles and locations means greater development opportunities across the board.
We actively encourage and invest in our employees to set and reach personal and professional goals, and we have some of the best mentoring minds in the business to help you do that.

The Built Environs graduate program will put you on a path to career success, by providing you with opportunities to learn and fulfil your potential.
Our graduate program is practical with an emphasis on learning and development. We provide an in-depth introduction to a career in commercial construction, learning the ropes both on-site and in the office.
You will work with people who are passionate about what they do and generous with their knowledge and experience.
Coming in as a graduate at Built Environs they have been really supportive, exposing me to all aspects of the business: commercial, new business, health and safety and management on site.
Starting off in head office in New Business allowed me to build a strong rapport with all trades from ground works to finishing works and everything in between.
Maddey Gunn, Graduate
The best part about working at Built Environs is the people - ranging from higher management to project teams. They bring a welcoming front which I believe is the foundation to this business’ culture. It is nice knowing that the hard work is acknowledged.
Andrejan Jankoski, Graduate
I have learnt many skills relating to my role, while also learning how to become a more rounded construction professional. Through talking and learning from my colleagues I have gained an understanding on how to act in the industry. Its not just increasing the quality and complexity of what I can do technically - I'm also observing how people work, manage relationships, engage, communicate and positively influence others.

Health & Wellbeing
Built Environs offer a variety of programs across the physical, mental and wellness spectrum.
We are constantly evolving our offerings to ensure our employees are given the help and support they need to achieve their health and wellness goals.
Our aim is to make Built Environs a great place to work.
Our Health and Wellbeing initiatives bring our vision for our workplaces to life, by linking people, place and technology together. This then creates a vibrant, energetic, engaging and productive working environment.
We value flexibility and provide a workplace that meets the changing needs of our employees, thus creating a great place to work.
MATES in Construction
At Built Environs, we are proactively committed to ensuring the wellbeing of our teams.
Mental health and suicide awareness are still key challenges in the construction industry, and we are committed to supporting our people through tough times by ensuring they receive the help they need.
We are a long-term member of MATES In Construction (MATES), an independent charity that aims to reduce suicide and improve mental health and wellbeing within construction and allied industries.
All of our major sites across Australia and New Zealand are MATES-accredited.
The MATES In Construction program focuses on equipping people to offer help to others by building a community that looks out for each other – ‘mates looking out for mates’.
Together with MATES, we are achieving positive outcomes and taking an active role in improving the mental health and wellbeing of our workforce, reducing stigma and developing a community-supported approach to early intervention and suicide prevention.
