A high-quality commercial development in Adelaide’s CBD
The 150 Grenfell development project involves the full reconstruction and expansion of two existing five-storey office buildings at 150 Grenfell and 162 Grenfell Street.
The existing services, fit-out and façade will be removed and the structural framing modified to accommodate the new design. This will include filling in previous lift shafts, creating a single floor plate across the two buildings, and constructing a further sixth floor and all new roof plant. The building will feature new ground floor lift lobby, end of trip facilities, amenities and tenancy lease spaces, and will be modernised and fitted with a new high-performance glazed façade.
Built Environs has been engaged under a Construct Only delivery model for the primary elements of the building, and a Design and Construct responsibility within the main construction contract for the façade package.
The sustainable design is market-leading and this type of delivery is likely to become commonplace in the future.
