Working together to build a better future for travellers at Auckland Airport

Built Environs in joint venture with McConnell Dowell are working with Auckland International Airport (AIAL) on contracts to enable the planned Transport Hub, removing old buildings, and constructing new secure facilities, roading, pavement works and utilities.

The East Airfield Building Relocation project is part of the preparation works for the future extension of the Auckland Airport and involved the construction of four new buildings – a transitional waste facility, an effluent waste facility, a security check point, and a livestock shed, as well as walkways, pavements, fencing, and utilities.

As part of the overall AIAL Terminal Integration Programme the WP2 Western Terminal enabling works includes the relocation of the existing parking areas and the construction of a new trucking route as well as renovations to parts of the Ground Floor, Ground Mezzanine, and Level 1 of the Western Terminal.
